Laura is an experienced endocrinologist and clinician with an extensive history and background in type 1 diabetes, autoimmunity, and clinical trials. Laura obtained her M.D. in Tucson, Arizona, and trained at the Mayo Clinic. She has been active in clinical research and academic medicine. She has served in clinical trials as an investigator and in leading trials in pharmaceutical research and development with Sanofi.
