Dr. Kabytaev is a Research Assistant Professor and Director of a translational laboratory focused on advancing diagnostic methods for diabetes. His expertise includes the application of proteomics and mass spectrometry for biomarker analysis, with a particular emphasis on assay development and clinical standardization. He actively contributes to international standardization initiatives, including the NGSP, as well as global efforts to standardize C-peptide and insulin measurements. Dr. Kabytaev completed fellowships at Aix-Marseille University in France and the International Institute of Nano and Molecular Medicine in the United States. He holds both an MSc and a PhD from Moscow State University.
