Hailey Davenport, RAC, is a Senior Project Manager for the Type 1 Diabetes Consortium (T1DC) at C-Path. She is a biomedical engineer with expertise in complex systems, integrating clinical trial design, regulatory strategy, quality engineering, and academic research. Hailey was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2008 as a young teenager, sparking a lifelong drive to help improve therapies for all people facing health challenges. Before joining C-Path in 2021, Hailey gained significant experience in health research through various positions in academia and industry. Through the University of Arizona’s Department of Surgery, Hailey worked directly with patients suffering severe traumatic injuries, enrolling them into clinical trials for hemorrhage control, spinal cord injury, and pediatric traumatic brain injury. Most recently, she worked at Salutaris Medical Devices, where she assisted in managing clinical trials for a 510(k) cleared radiation device indicated for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration. Hailey holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a medical device Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).
